All My Friends Hate Me is a dark comedy about social paranoia written by Tom Palmer & Tom Stourton and directed by Andrew Gaynord. The screenplay was featured on the The Brit List 2018 and held its world premiere at Tribeca 2021, subsequently screening at London Film Festival that October. The rights were acquired by SuperLTD in the US and BFI Distribution for the UK.

ANDREW GAYNORD

Andrew Gaynord is an award-winning director known for Netflix’s groundbreaking sketch comedy series The Characters created by Tim Robinson and John Early amongst others. Prior to this Andrew directed (and helped create) a string of UK comedy pilots including the critically acclaimed People Time (‘best comedy thing I’ve seen in a while’, Adam Buxton / ‘every beat is perfect’ the Guardian), Jamie Demetriou’s BAFTA nominated C4 show Stath Lets Flats [Pilot+S3] and award-winning comedian Phil Burgers’s C4 show Dr. Brown. Andrew continues to work with comedy’s most exciting rising stars such as Natasia Demetriou, Ellie White and Lolly Adefope. His latest project is HBO’s brand new comedy Computer School.

JON PLOWMAN

Jon Plowman OBE is a legend of the UK comedy industry and it’s hard to find a notable sit com in which he hasn’t had a hand. His astonishingly distinguished career demonstrates his instinct for pioneering new talent. He has produced a string of break-out, internationally successful shows such as The Office, Absolutely Fabulous, The League of Gentlemen and The Thick of It along with other national favourites like The Vicar of Dibley and W1A. Those shows may all have become household names but Jon has also had a hand in cult classics such as People Like Us (Julia Davis), 15 Storeys High (Sean Lock) and Time Trumpet (Armando Ianucci). Jon has kept a keen interest in Stourton & Palmer’s careers ever since he saw them in their award-nominated Edinbugh production of Totally Tom. He is now delighted to be working with them in the official capacity of Executive Producer.
